Measurement of factors determining modern tendencies of birth rate in the Northern regions of Russia

The article is devoted to the measuring of role the factors of age structure and intensity of birth rate in the formation of its dynamics in the northern regions of Russia. To that end, the methods of direct standardization and decomposition of increment the special fertility rate on components were used. The calculation allow to define, that the average contribution of fertility intensity in the formation the dynamics of special fertility rate was higher, than average contribution of structural factor in all Russian northern regions in 2007-2016, in which the modern measures of demographic policy were acting. Revealed, that the intensity of fertility of women in middle age reproductive group increased most significantly. Defined, that in the North of Russia the factor of age structure started to affect adversely on birth rate earlier than on the whole In Russia. The author concludes, that on the eve of aggravation the adversely affect of the age structure on birth rate, prolongation and strengthening the state demographic policy is becoming actual not only by reason of providing the social support of families with minor children, but also in mind of necessity to prevent it the deep decreasing.
