The main theoretical views of definition of the concept "competitiveness of the enterprise" and methodical approaches to its increase for the enterprises of the construction industry were investigated in article. Approach to management of competitiveness of the construction enterprises of a full cycle on the basis of improvement internal, and first of all, material processes was offered. Authors investigated theoretical aspects and problems of management of material resources at the construction enterprise. The methodological base of this research was made by works of foreign and domestic scientists in the field of management and economy, including modern researches concerning providing competitive position of the enterprises of a full cycle in the construction market. Big reserves of improving competitiveness of the construction enterprises are in management of their internal processes in general, and material resources, in particular, owing to a high material capacity as specific feature of the construction industry were established. As a result of researches authors offered the mechanism of improving competitiveness of the construction organization due to management of material resources. The theoretical and practical importance of this research is that basic provisions and conclusions, can be used for improvement of separate internal processes of the construction enterprises providing increase in their competitiveness in the market of construction products. The received conclusions create methodical and methodological base for improvement of internal processes of the large construction enterprises of a full cycle, with a possibility of entering into the mechanism of the changes considering specifics of works and regional features that will provide, finally, increase in their competitiveness.
