This article discusses the current state and opportunities for improving the implementation of high-tech innovative technologies in the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan. As well as the national innovation system of Kazakhstan, the scientific and innovative infrastructure of the country's agro-industrial complex, including agriculture, demonstrates a low ability to develop a critical mass of high-tech innovative technologies developed by domestic scientists and introduced into production. The current situation is aggravated by the low financial and investment potential of farmers ' entrepreneurs and the lack of an effective system for developing and distributing popular innovative knowledge and technology among agricultural producers, as is widely used in world practice. Therefore, the lack of tangible results in agricultural production in the form of mass developed and implemented scientific developments of domestic scientists causes the search for reasons that slow down these processes in the innovative system of the agro-industrial complex. To solve these problems within the framework of this research, we have conducted a theoretical study of the possibilities of such world practice as the main mechanism for improving the scientific and innovative potential of entrepreneurs farmers in Kazakhstan. In confirmation of the need for such targeted mechanisms for the development of innovation in the agro-industrial complex conducted a corresponding sociological survey of entrepreneurs of the particular region of the country. According to the results of the sociological survey, respondents ' opinions were summarized on topical issues of innovative development of companies in the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan, including such issues as state support for innovation, financing of activities and innovative processes, long-and short-term plans of market participants, prospects for entering the foreign market, through the introduction of innovative technologies. In conclusion, we present recommendations for further improving the scientific and innovative potential of agricultural producers in the country, including measures of state and institutional support for innovation processes, as well as mechanisms for creating a network for spreading innovative knowledge among farmers.

Keywords: agro-industrial complex, agriculture, science-intensive innovative technologies, system of dissemination of innovative knowledge in agriculture, Republic of Kazakhstan.
