Strategic priorities explanation of social economic north regions development

In environmental uncertain conditions, rapidly changing geopolitical conditions, due to lockdown, also to due the world pandemic and west countries economic sanctions, the strategic priorities search and theoretical comprehending of social economic north regions development are becoming more actual today. The purpose of this article is to substantiate the strategic priorities of social economic north regions development. The authors were aimed to clarify the peculiarities of the Komi Republic social economic problems in energetic sphere, basic economic and rural areas spheres, north region innovative development, also other strategic priority development trends. The object of study is improvement management process of the North region development. General scientific research methods (comparing, generalization, analogy method), logic theoretical analysis methods, system analysis method are used in the article. The priorities strategic trends of the Komi Republic social economic development, as the North region, are studied in the article. The goal setting conditions and key principles of the strategic territorial development concept are argued and defined. It is marked that “the goal” category is constant, while priorities concept trends can be changed. So, the authors came to the conclusion, that strategic priorities explanation of social economic north regions development must be done basing on social economic regions problems peculiarities. The next trends of this research are the study and analysis of North regions economic reforming tools, also, government role explanation and north areas business development.
