Abstract. The purpose of the study is to show the possibilities of philately as an additional source for studying the merits of Nobel Prize winners in economics. Focus not only on specific areas of the economy that have been the focus of researchers who have received the most prestigious award on the planet, but also on the extent to which postal authorities around the world have expressed their interest in publishing portraits of economic laureates on postage signs. The peculiarity of this article is also the fact that it was possible to prepare brief descriptions and provide historical references for individual postal miniatures related to this topic.
